Services
Consulting services are delivered remotely unless another arrangement is documented. The work performed depends on the purchased hours, agreed scope, available access, and information provided by the customer.
Consulting hours and billing
- The minimum consulting session is one hour.
- Time after the first hour is billed in 30-minute increments.
- Unused purchased time rolls forward and does not expire.
- Time is non-refundable after work begins.
Scheduling and response windows
Scheduling and response windows are typically within one to five business days unless a different window is arranged. Availability may depend on the requested skill set, project urgency, and existing delivery commitments.
Customer responsibilities
The customer is responsible for providing necessary access, obtaining internal approvals, managing data classification, identifying authorized decision-makers, and validating changes in its own environment.
Liability
Horton Scientific's total cumulative liability for website-purchased consulting services is limited to the amount paid for the applicable block of hours.
Formal agreements
Larger projects and managed-service engagements may require a master services agreement, statement of work, or other written terms. For agreement questions, email support@hortonscientific.com.
